With a background in architecture, I've always been drawn to the balance between form and function. What started as a small studio where I designed every bag to order, slowly grew into what AESAERT is today. Although the brand has evolved over the years, my way of working never really changed.

I still design every bag from my atelier in Ghent. It's where ideas take shape, every detail is carefully considered, and personal stories are translated into timeless designs.

That's also why I love welcoming people into the atelier. Seeing the bags in real life, feeling the leather, comparing colours and trying on different sizes often tells you more than a screen ever could. There is no rush and no pressure, just the time and space to discover which bag truly feels right for you.

I've never wanted AESAERT to be about impulse purchases. I want you to choose a bag you'll carry for years, one that becomes part of your story and only grows more beautiful with time.

For me, every bag still begins in the same place it always has: my atelier in Ghent.
