Every bag we design starts with a need. For the Teckel, that need was my own.

After designing the Billie and the Brieux, two structured handbags, I felt it was time to create something different. I wanted a bag that celebrated the natural softness of our leather. One that didn't rely on structure, but on the beauty of the material itself.

At the same time, there was a shape missing from our collection. A long, elegant silhouette that felt effortless to carry and practical enough for every day.

That became the starting point for the Teckel.

From the very first sketch, the focus was simple: create a handbag you'll instinctively reach for every morning. Spacious enough for your daily essentials, comfortable to wear and timeless enough to become part of your everyday routine.

What makes the Teckel truly special is the way it showcases the leather. Whether you carry it by hand or over your shoulder, the bag moves naturally with you. The soft drape, the subtle folds and the way the leather catches the light all reveal the exceptional quality of our signature vegetable-tanned leather.

It's a bag designed to be lived with. To soften, to develop its own character and to become even more beautiful with time.
