Every AESAERT bag is crafted from carefully selected vegetable-tanned leather. We choose this leather because it is made to age beautifully, developing a unique patina over time while preserving its character and strength. We believe a bag should become even more beautiful the longer you carry it.

Our commitment to quality goes hand in hand with a commitment to responsible craftsmanship. Our tannery is Leather Working Group (LWG) Gold certified and fully compliant with European REACH regulations, reflecting the highest standards in environmental performance, chemical management and traceability throughout the tanning process.

Through an innovative tanning process based on water recycling, our tannery saves more than 13 million litres of water every year. By combining decades of expertise with more responsible production methods, they create leather that is not only beautiful and long-lasting, but crafted with respect for the future.
